A message from Menlo:

“There’s a story behind all this. However not that interesting, the fact of the matter is that we can no longer continue using the name Menlo. So it goes.

Not to make a huge deal of it, especially being that there hasn’t even been a full length record yet. Debut record is going to hit you all in March! As I’m writing this I’m listening to it again, and I think its safe to say that you will really like it.

The last official show under the name Menlo will be January the 15th at Ames Progressive. Hope to see you all there! But after that show, we will continue on under the new name: Canby

It will take a little getting used to, but since I’ve started kicking it around in my head, I’ve come to really love the name. I hope you will too.

Aqui Estamos Records signed our first band Cashes Rivers May 2009 and Menlo shortly after in September. 2010 will be an exciting time for us all. To kick off 2010 it has been decided…. We are throwing a party! More details to come.. here are just a few.

It’s been slow going but I am very happy to say: Aqui Estamos Records has a new look!!!

Logo: Thanks to Bradford Johnson and Love Studios Design for helping us with the perfect logo. I can’t wait to plaster it on everything, it’s just that awesome!

Website: Adam Trimble is the mad spot loving web designer for the NEW, IMPROVED and FULLY functional site. As many may know, I have been attempting to play web designer since May with little success.  THANKS Adam for making us look cool!
